With customers like NEXT, Vodafone, Ideal Shopping and a host of other companies in different industries the company is looking for another go getting individual to win new accounts – you will work in a region of the UK local to your home but will also be expected to travel to the rest of the country where appropriate.
MAIN DUTIES -
Reporting to the MD, but able to operate very much on your own initiative this role requires the successful candidate to sell the company`s products and services to businesses across a range of vertical markets. Specific duties include:
- Devise your own time, activity, workload and account plans to ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual productivity, revenue and gross profit targets
- Work closely with internal sales and telemarketing to run effective campaigns
- Make cold calls to and progress generated leads
- Visit prospects and customers within assigned vertical markets to build a pipeline of new business and cross-sell
- Keep up to date and accurate records of customer activity using a CRM system
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts
- Submit regular reports showing sales results and activity
- Communicate and share market and competitor intelligence with the Sales Director and other team members
- Attend sales meetings
KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and QUALITIES - IT SALES EXECUTIVE
- Self-motivated entrepreneur who is capable of building a senior client base
- Extensive demonstrable track record of B2B business development, particularly within the IT sales field
- Educated to College standard
- Full driving licence and English speaking
- Consultative business to business sales approach
- Commercial acumen
- Web savvy
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including listening, questioning and presenting
- Organised and efficient
- Confident, enthusiastic and energetic
- Self-sufficient, results driven and tenacious
